World War Z

Brooks, Max. World War Z. NY: Crown Publishers, 2006. 342 pages. (Horror / Sci-Fi)

World War Z is about all these people that survived zombie attacks throughout the years. There really is only one main character who is the writer of the book, Max Brooks. He finds and interviews people all around the world who have survived World War Z. The places range from the Americas, to Australia, to Japan, and to the Czech Republic. I thought the book was really interesting, and I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends because it is a survival horror book, and I like those kinds of books.

I selected the book when I saw my uncle reading it, and I asked him: “what book it was?”
He said, “It’s World War Z”. It sounded like a good book, so I bought it at Borders and began to read. The book was a little difficult to understand at first because the format of the book was odd. It starts as the author (Max Brooks) interviewing a survivor of the zombie war and the rest of the book is Max Brooks interviewing survivors of the zombie war. I thought it was an awesome book, hard to figure out, but a good book.

Look for Max Brook’s other book: The Zombie Survival Guide.
