The Princess Diaries

Cabot, Meg. The Princess Diaries. NY: 2000. 283 pages. (Fiction)

It is about a girl named Mia, who goes to high school in NewYorkCity Manhattan. She’s not the prettiest, she’s not the smartest, and she’s a pretty average girl. One day her grandma (who she never sees) wanted tea have tea with her. Mia was shocked: she soon finds out that her grandmother was a queen! Which makes Mia a Princess! Mia is unwilling to take responsibility to be a princess, but as the book goes on, she realizes that maybe she would be a good princess, of a whole country!!! I liked this book; I would recommend this book to a Jr. High Student, just because a younger student might not understand all of it, and an older student would find it childish and not enjoy it!
