Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Kennet, Jeff. Diary of a Wimpy Kid. NY: Amulet Books, 2007. 217 pages. (Graphic Novel / Humor)

The main characters are Gregory, Rowley, Frank, Mom, Dad, Manny, and the cheese. They all seem to be a nice group of people, except the cheese. The characters stay in the town through the whole book, except for Gregory and Rowley. They secretly leave the town during trick or treating. They get kick out of the other town by Gregory’s mom and bad teenagers because Gregory and Rowley teased the teens and Gregory’s mom calls him up tells him to come home that instant. Gregory wants to get a new game for his game station. He really wants to get it so his mom gets it for him, but his mom gets mixed up and accidentally gave the gift to charity. Gregory’s friend, Rowley gets the game so they both play the game together. If I had to describe this book in ten words I would say,” This book is the best book in the whole world!’’ This book is a great comic to read when you have nothing to do, or when you want to get a great laugh for the day.
