Who Was John F. Kennedy?

McDonough, Yona. Who Was John F. Kennedy? NY: Grosset &Dunlap, 2005. 100 pages. (Non-Fiction / Bio)

My book is about John F Kennedy who was a WWII hero who saved his shipwrecked crewmen in the Pacific, the first Catholic president and youngest ever to be elected. The biography takes place in 1917-1963 from when he was born all the way through his life to his death. JFK saved his shipwrecked crew members one who was badly burnt and swam for five hours with him on his back. He held a little piece of rubber intertube to breathe out of in his mouth until he hit land and saw two Native Americans and a canoe. He wrote on a coconut these words: NATIVE. KNOWS. POSITION. HE. CAN. PILOT .11. ALIVE. NEED. SMALL. BOAT. KENNEDY.

The reason I selected this book was because it was a biography and also a true story about JFK. It looked interesting and hit my eyes. I would recommend this to anyone who likes reading because this book is funny, a quick read, and interesting.
