This is the second of a two volume series that tells the story of the American Revolution from the view points of several key participants. This story follows a time line that begins in August 1776, shortly after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and goes to the conclusion of the war. It is not a history text book but rather a book of historical fiction. This book does not use made up information but rather a compiling of letters, diaries, and biographies written at that time. I feel that whenever you read about the revolution, it’s always one sided, always about the Americans. This book however tells both about the Americans and their British foe as well. This is the ultimate book for the person who really wants to learn their facts about the revolution.
