Eclipse

Meyer, Stephenie. Eclipse. NY: Little, Brown and Company, 2007. 629 pages. (Fantasy Series / Vampires)

Bella Swan is an ordinary girl, in love with a vampire, named Edward Cullen. And, guess what? Her life gets better; her best friend is a werewolf, named Jacob Black, and old family friend. In the small town of Forks werewolves and Vampires loathe one another. While so much drama is going on between Bella, Edward, Jake, and even Charlie; Bella’s Dad, people are disappearing in Seattle. The group soon figures out that the deaths are to often to be the killings of one group or person. It has to be a Vampire. Wait. Many Vampires. Usually Vampires can handle their thirst for blood around humans, but small, new Vampires cannot control the thirst and go out of control. Bella has wanted to become a Vampire to be with Edward for so long, but she is worried she will turn into a small, frenzied, blood thirsty Vampire, just like those committing all those murders. To stop the small Vampires, and their lead Vampire, Victoria, the werewolves and the Cullens must join together to stop them.

I loved this book! I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys love stories and especially, fairy tales. I am waiting for the sequel to this book that is coming out next fall. I am very excited to read it and then, wait for the next one. One word that labels the book would have to be, adventurous. This book went very in depth and had great descriptions.
