Beach Blondes

Applegate, Katherine. Beach Blondes. NY: Simon Pulse, 2008. 721 pages. (Romance)

Florida Keys, the perfect place to spend your entire summer. At least that’s what Summer Smith thinks. She’s been in cold, snowy, miserable Minnesota for way too long, so she sets off to spend the summer with her aunt, Mallory, and evil cousin Diana, who has always been jealous of her. Good thing she’s in the mood for a summer fling because that’s exactly what she’s going to get. She meets three totally awesome guys: Adam Merrick, the senator’s son, with all the money imaginable and total power; Diver, a mysterious man who always has Summer guessing his identity; and Seth Warner, the perfect guy for Summer… but he’s taken. Summer is in for more trouble than she could ever imagine from one summer.

I really liked this book. It was really funny and cute with a lot of drama, which is what I look for in a book. There’s definitely at least one shocking twist in every chapter. Anyone looking for a good drama filled book should totally read this!
