The Titan’s Curse

Riordan, Rick. The Titan’s Curse. New York: Miramax Books, 2007. 312 pages. (Fantasy Series)

The main characters in The Titan’s Curse are: Percy, Grover, Zoe, Bianca, and Thalia. This story takes place all across the United States. The main problem that these people faced was that Annabeth, Percy’s friend, was missing, because she was kidnapped by a monster. How the main characters solved this problem was by going all the way across the country to San Francisco to search for her, and found her on top of a mountain. Another interesting thing that happens in this novel is: some sea animal called an Ophiotauras, who Percy named Bessie, has the power to destroy the gods.
This book is the third book in the series of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is followed by The Lightning Thief and The Sea Of Monsters. Nothing in the book, or any in the series, has ever happened to me. I definitely recommend this book for readers who like fantasy, because it is very strange, and very exciting. I selected this because I liked the first two books in the series, and I thought I would like this one too. {And I did.} I would read any book by this author, since he has a very good imagination. If I had to give this book a one word label, I would say fantastic. I like fantasy, and it is a very good fantasy book.
