Sarah With an H

Irwin, Hadley. Sarah With an H. New York: Simon & Schuster, 1996. 134 pages. (Realistic Fiction)

There is a new girl at LaMond High School. Sarah with an H is everything all the girls wanted. Her hair, eyes, pierced ears, and clothes were much too expensive for any other girl to afford. Sarah also is very smart, loves to study, and is an awesome basketball player. At her new school, Marti has to show Sarah around. At first she is annoyed with her, and then she learns to be nice to her and eventually becomes friends with her.

When the Bebe Jumeau and some other antiques are stolen from the library Sarah, Marti, and Elva (from the nursing home) have to find them. Who stole them? Where are they? Why did they steal them? For profit? Read this book and these questions will be answered.

This book wasn’t the best I’ve ever read. It was ok. If you are interested in basketball, you might like it.
