Like any other self respecting girl her age Jess wants to be gorgeous, popular, and smart much like her best friend Flora. Now Jess needs a new focus because the only thing she can focus on is the gorgeous Benjamin Jones. But to bad for her Ben doesn't pay any attention to her unless Flora is talking to her. Perhaps Fred who does pay attention to her, but poor boy really needs a hair cut, will help Jess through her crush, after all he is a boy that pays attention to her. But Flora might get in the way AGAIN because she has a crush on "Freddy." Using her Charm and heroic personality Jess tries to hold it all together with quite funny results.
I liked this book. It wasn't my favorite, but I would read it again. But as for recommending it for someone to read, I probably would tell anyone about it.
